Data Engineering Manager, Analytics Responsibilities:
Lead Engineers working with the engineering teams to build products and/or infrastructure required to support the products at scale.
Make sure that the technology stack handles the needs of the product and is flexible enough to scale as requirements change and usage increases.
Understand technical architectures, tooling needs, automation plans, product launch plans, and other issues and create comprehensive plans for prioritizing technical and resourcing challenges.
Communicate cross-functionality and provide constructive feedback into how the product is designed and help craft solutions to difficult user experience and system integrations problems.
Hold technical discussions within organization and have strategic influence.
Drive engineering efforts.
Balance the need to "keep things running" with allocating time to long-term, high-impact projects.
Mentor engineers on team.
Recruit and hire engineers.
Play a critical role in helping to set the goals and direction for team.
May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Experience must include 24 months involving the following:
Business Intelligence and Data WarehousingData architectureWriting SQL statementsProgramming in Python, Perl, or JavaDriving the vision for BI and Data Warehousing across a product vertical, and defining and executing on a plan to achieve that visionManaging delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizationsDriving data quality across the product verticalDriving the design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines in production.Public Compensation:
$278,906/year to $311,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
