Job Description

　　An employer at Aberdeen Proving Ground (MD) is seeking a cost estimator to support a DoD project office. This person will provide cost-estimating support and various cost functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of costs (incurred or future) for programs and projects. There is telework flexibility, but this individual will be expected to report on-site in Ft. Belvoir, VA 1 day/week.

　　Additional responsibilities include:

　　Developing R&D cost estimates for prototype projects

　　Developing life cycle cost estimates to determine the total cost of a program

　　Preparing estimates for changes in technical and/or funding baselines

　　Determining cost parameters, specific cost factors, and relationships for a cost model, based on mission requirements

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Active Secret Clearance

　　Bachelors Degree in Business, finance, or related field

　　4+ years of experience providing cost analysis/estimation in the DoD space

　　Proficiency in ACEIT (Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools) - Experience with Army acquisition programs

　　Cost Estimating certifications such as PCE/A or CCE/A

　　Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management) null
