Serving as primary owner representative overseeing, performing, and coordinating daily construction management activities Monitoring that the project is constructed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, budget, and schedule
Leading resolution of day-to-day construction issues
Interacting with clients, designers, owners, contractors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies including leading meetings and generating
correspondence
Directing and supervising field construction activities and contract administration including staff and specialty subconsultants
Administering construction contracts including review of contractor's schedules, responding to claims received from contractor, documenting progress
of project, and answering requests for information, submittals, and change orders
Enabling project success while facilitating the resolution of all project issues in a fair and firm manner
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day management of all construction related matters for multiple heavy civil projects for one of Psomas' long
standing clients. Responsibilities include supervision of staff, contract administration, implementing technical solutions on construction/design issues, monitoring schedule and managing budget.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
*NEED TO HAVE EITHER PE LICENSE, EIT OR CCM CERT.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline
Active California Professional Engineering (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
10+ years of related work experience including managing the construction or being involved with the engineering design of wastewater treatment
facilities, public works infrastructure, and heavy civil projects
Knowledge of the construction process and the ability to read, understand and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with minimal supervision and manage deadlines
Ability to work on-site in a construction trailer or building; ability to walk on uneven surfaces, stand, climb ladders, crawl, stoop, and enter confined
spaces; tolerate heat, cold, dirt, odors, and other construction hazards may exist
5+ years of experience with start-up, testing and commissioning of wastewater infrastructure
Prior experience managing and/or providing engineering design services for heavy civil projects
Experience with water resources, infrastructure and/or public works projects
