Hourly rate : $22.12

Hours: Per Diem (Orange and Sullivan County)

Bachelor's and Masters Level professionals

Seeking a Community Psychiatric Support Treatment Practitioner who will assist the child/youth and family/caregivers to achieve stability and functional improvement in daily living, personal recovery, and/or resilience, family, and interpersonal relationships in school and community integrity.

Job Description:

CPST Practitioner will provide community based services to children and families who may have difficulty engaging in formal office settings but can benefit from home and community based rehabilitative services.

CPST Practitioners offer services including:

Bachelors Level:

Rehabilitative Psychoeducation

Strengths Based Service Planning

Rehabilitative Supports

Masters Level:

Rehabilitative Psychoeducation

Strengths Based Service Planning

Rehabilitative Supports

Intensive Interventions

Crisis Avoidance

Intermediate Term Crisis Management

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care/child welfare/juvenile justice.

Preferred a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related human services field with 1 year of applicable experience.

Be cleared by the State Child Abuse Registry

Complete fingerprinting for a criminal history background clearance

Have a valid driver’s license

Have dependable transportation

Be able to complete Mandated Reporting self-directed on line training

Have experience working with children (preference given to those with experience working with children with special needs)

Must be willing to work late afternoons, evenings and some weekends.
