The key responsibility of C&C Manager is to create a culture of trust where teams are connected, share insights with business leadership, design effective controls & standards to prevent, detect & mitigate risks, win together with partners & customers
Responsibilities
Compliance Office & Compliance Committees
Influences committees by formalizing governance on cross-organizational compliance committees, uses existing relationships to coordinate between business stakeholders and groups, focuses on culture and ethics, and contributes to the global training program.
Monitors and participates in compliance committee execution; reviews and suggests coverage of required topics, and elevates issues to Central Controls & Compliance (C&C) for visibility and support; develops agenda in collaboration with the management team; executes and drives compliance committee agenda all follow-up actions; identifies risk to fiscal year priorities and recommends mitigation solutions to the business.
Monitoring & Collaboration
Reviews and leverages testing results and metrics to ensure accuracy and ensures team accountability; reviews and ensures business or functional team accountability for remediation plan and execution; consults on remediation or escalates issues as necessary; coordinates between the monitoring program owner and local and corporate stakeholders.
Contributes to key organizational processes and ensures corporate-designed process or programs can be landed and executed in the local organization provides active input for the annual risk assessment; engages in cross team collaboration.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
Identifies and reviews Sales Deal Execution (SDE) risks and issues; leads and ensures the compliance monitoring plan is in place and surfaces issues to teams, management, and corporate teams; anticipates emerging risks in the marketplace industry; informs the leadership team of emerging risk and provides proposals to proactively address emerging risk.
Reviews vetting and other related third-party compliance actions and ensures that controls are functioning appropriately; flags deals for review where risk indicators exist, this includes support of on-boarding and off-boarding activities.
Education
Creates and participates in local training and supports a compliance community through community calls, team visits, and annual activities; leverages training opportunities from Controls & Compliance teams and applies training to common issues; supports world-wide groups to influence and contribute to compliance trainings by providing input to build common globally-appropriate training.Qualifications
7+ years of experience in finance / finance leadership positions.
Experience in Multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment audit/assurance & other finance roles is recommended.
Ability to simplify the complex & problem solving skills
Ability to balance business partnering along with having an independent view
Effective communication skills in English.
BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, CPA preferred.
