Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join the Portal to the Information Environment (pIE) team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (DoD HPCMP). This is a virtual position that can be accomplished from anywhere in the continental US.
The selected Data Analyst will perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations and recommend other useful metrics to measure utilization of High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in addition to other related analysis tasks. In addition to analysis tasks, the data analyst will participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss topics to include data collection to support new analysis tasks and impacts of scheduling processes on utilization. Flexibility in approach to finding solutions is essential, as well as the ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities.
Responsibilities include:Identify data requirements from each HPC system required to ensure the quality and accuracy of reports and visualizations.Collaborate with each HPC center to refine their processes to provide consistent data to support metrics and analyses that drive real decisions.Participate in cross-functional teams to represent the HPCMP's Resource Management team, providing information to assist in making configuration and policy changes.Review and enhance existing scripts and processes (as well as develop new ones) to meet the customer's needs for utilization reporting. Provide expert advice on the development and analysis of new system utilization metrics and tools.Participate in technical meetings in support of the HPCMP's Resource Management tools, providing operational and technical requirements to support the development and operation of these toolsProvide scheduled reports and analysis products to government customer as well as ad-hoc analysis as requested.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $136620 - $232210
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
