One of TEKsystems’ largest financial clients is seeking a Communications Specialist for an initial 12 month contract opportunity. The client is going through a large acquisition and there are a number of specific communications that need to occur throughout.
This role is hybrid remote with 3 days on-site Downtown Toronto per week. *37.5 hour work week.
Must Have Skills
· 5+ years’ of experience working within a prior enterprise client Communications Specialist or Consulting role with hands on experience with communications plans.
· Experience with Canva is highly preferred.
Requirements/Responsibilities
· Directly supports content development for VP AC communication and supports Executive internal and external communications and engagements – including speaking notes, video development and presentations.
· Collaborates with Leadership and other key Advice Center partners to support communication content development and
change management planning and for LOBs and AC strategic priorities (including National Office).
· Support Director Communication in developing a communication and change management plan and strategy that engage employees and
enables advisor and leadership capability.
· Accountable for prioritizing and executing on timelines and deliverables of the Advice Center communication and change
management plan.
· Provide timely communication advice and design expertise, proactive support, and counsel in implementing strategies and AC
transformational initiatives for AC nationally.
· Supports design, development and execution of change management planning for assigned key AC and strategic priority initiatives.
· Act as advocate for Advice Centre in developing, simplifying and implementing strategic and tactical communications methods
using communication channels in the most cost-effective way to maximize employee engagement, client experience, operational excellence.
· Responsible to measure and monitor communication plan outcomes as part of embed and sustain activities of the operating office,
utilizing data, insight, and readership feedback to assess communication effectiveness and readership results.
· Responsible for post-review communication tactics and sharing results to determined audience(s) engagement and adoption
while capturing learnings and opportunities enhancements for future initiatives.
· Champions Advice Center communication effectiveness requirements with Head Office partners to ensure method, timing
and content is relative to meet high pace environment and relevancy to role knowledge and responsibilities.
· Partners with National Office (Corporate Communication, Business Enablement and Retail Banking – Issue Management) on
BCP and enterprise initiatives where required, providing communication subject matter expertise for the Advice Center supporting embed and sustain activities,
access to business impact/outcomes, feedback and insights, monitoring change effectiveness of advisor enablement and client experience.
· Demonstrate a personal commitment to ensure self-learning/development action plan is in place to build necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to meet position requirements.
