Through a combination of capacity building and direct service, the PAC will help schools provide more opportunities for youth to be physically active in ways that are safe, fun, inclusive, and sustainable. PACs will be part of a professional learning community to share resources and best practices for supporting physical activity in schools. The specific activities will depend on school needs and goals. This position is a great fit for someone thinking about a career in teaching, coaching or youth development. Capacity building could include assisting with school-wide strategic planning including:* Helping to facilitate needs assessments, goal setting, action planning and supporting implementation of strategic plans related to inclusive physical activity. * Working with community-based organizations, local and regional partners to identify opportunities and partnerships for physical activity.
