Inner Parish Security Corporation is looking to hire a HR Assistant to support our recent growth. This job would be performed from our corporate office in Hammond, LA, and some remote work. You would be joining a multi-generational, family-owned business that has been providing security guard and electronic security services for 45+ years. Our culture shapes how we run the business, and we are looking for an employee who has a positive and friendly demeanor and who enjoys their work.
Roles and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for the compliance of Compnay Security Guard Licenses for all states. This will include obtaining new licenses and maintaining the renewals in a timely manner. In addition to the Company license, the position will be required to present to company leaders the requirements for individual guards to obtain and maintain security guard licenses. Doing research is a big part of this role and being resourceful and organized are required skills needed to be successfull in this position. Identifying state approved trainers and coordinating training are all part of this responsibility.
Assist the HR Team in the daily administration of HR services as directed or assigned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring, training, compliance, licensing, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, accident-incident management, customer service, administration, and other general HR responsibilities.
The HR Assistant will participate in daily duties such as: data entry, filing, record keeping, file management and be in constant communication with employees and co-workers. Operating Basic office skills are a must: computer, phone, printer, copier/scanner, mail, etc.
Great oral and written communication skills are needed to provide friendly and efficient customer service to our supervisors, employees, applicants, and business associates.
