About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for new sales, customer engagement activities. You will build relationships with our customers to identify future opportunities and successfully negotiate and close deals. You will highlight risks and opportunities to the business and shape the use of data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
· Managing entire sales process to position Elsevier Health Science Solutions with an emphasis on new business sales.
· Developing sales and marketing strategies for selling subscription based solutions based on India strategic directions, market analysis and sales goals
· Managing planning, forecasting and monitoring against budget. Understanding business challenges and coming up with effective solutions to mitigate risks
· Building and developing sales competencies through training on products, systems and sales techniques. Be a coach for the terms of Value Selling & Sales Methodologies
· Monitoring market developments to understand the impact of our execution and to develop and improve our go-to-market strategies for Elsevier's clinical solutions in the HS market
· Involving and engaging with Key Leaders to position Elsevier as a leader in the industry in this space
Requirements
· Be a strategic thinker with the ability to devise audience focused communications plans that help us achieve our goals
· Have a solid and successful background in using a solutions-sales approach to consultative selling in a business-to-business environment
· Be customer focused and able to build and maintain relationships internally and externally through value driven and collaborative interactions
· Show excellent organizational skills, strategic planning and analytical approach to manage account
· Demonstrate great networking and successful negotiation skills
