r The Department of Culture, Society, and Justice at the University ofIdaho invites applications for a clinical non-tenure track facultyposition at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August of 2024.The successful candidate will contribute to the Departments program incriminology. All areas of specialization will be considered, but we areparticularly seeking areas that complement our current course offeringsand department strengths. The successful candidate will be expected toteach two or more of the core service courses offered in our new Masterof Sciences degree in criminology and our undergraduate degree programin criminology (e.g., Introduction to Criminology, Justice Institutions,Criminological Theory, Research Methods in Criminology, and/or JusticePolicy Issues). Faculty are also encouraged to teach in their specialtyareas within criminology. The standard teaching load is a 3/4 (sevenclasses per academic year).

Ph.D. in criminology, criminal justice, law & society, or a closelyrelated field (a JD does not meet the minimum educationalrequirements for this position);Experience developing and/or teaching criminology courses.rrPreferred Qualifications:
