　　Summary:

　　The Clinical Coordinator - Medical Assistant will oversee daily clinical operations.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assist Site Manager and physicians with the successful operations of the clinical staff, procedures and treatment

　　Support the physician's office health care team

　　Answer phones

　　Screen patient's chart prior to appointment

　　Interview patients and prepare them for examinations and other procedures

　　Assist the physician during the exam

　　Administer injections

　　Perform any necessary lab work or testing

　　Follow up on test orders and reports results to the physician and patient

　　Provides patient education

　　Maintain medical equipment and take inventory

　　Perform other duties as assigned

　　Certification/Licenses:

　　Required RMA (Registered Medical Assistant, CMA (Medical Assistant), EMT or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician), or ParamedicExperience:

　　Required 6 years Medical Assistant experience

　　Required experience must include 1 year in BayCare Medical Group or BayCare Urgent Care working as a Medical Assistant
