As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Career Technical Training (CTT) Instructor, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
We are currently looking for a qualified and enthusiastic individual who can join our team as a CNA CTT Instructor. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver high-quality instruction, hands-on training, and guidance to students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare. Responsibilities:
Instruction:Develop and deliver curriculum for CNA training programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Hands-on Training:Facilitate hands-on training sessions to provide students with practical experience in nursing skills, including patient care, vital signs monitoring, and infection control.
Classroom Management:Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, collaboration, and a positive learning experience.
Assessment and Evaluation:Implement assessments to measure students' progress and proficiency in CNA skills. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students succeed.
Curriculum Development:Work collaboratively with the education team to update and improve CNA training curriculum based on industry trends and feedback from healthcare professionals.
Professional Development:Stay current with advancements in nursing education, participate in professional development opportunities, and maintain any required certifications.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEA minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required. LPN Certified, licensed, oraccredited in the state in which the center is located, or is accredited by a professional tradeorganization. For NTC, instructor must be certified by union or trade organization, or by a nationaltrade certifying organization. Previous Job Corps experience preferred. Must possess a validDrivers License and meet company insurability requirements.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing,carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or theability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. (Depending upon trade)
