Description:

　　• Operating cage washers, autoclaves and bedding disposal equipment.

　　• Clean and sterilize rooms

　　• Dumping and scraping dirty bedding material out of soil caging.

　　• Assembling clean caging to be used in animal rooms for change outs.

　　• Operating bedding dispensing equipment.

　　• Maintain environmental data log.

　　• Maintain equipment and supplies for animal rooms and cage wash areas.

　　• Other duties as assigned.

　　**It is a very physically demanding position and requires employees to be on their feet most of the day.

　　Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm (with rotating weekends)

　　Qualifications:

　　• Education: HS Diploma or GED

　　**Preference towards candidates with Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Biology, or related

　　• 6+ months experience in a role that required cage washing and assembly, heavy lifting, and/or production environment

　　• Must be comfortable within in preclinical research
