  Description

The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization strives to improve the Amazon customer experience by working directly with selling partners to enable more selection, reduce defects, and drive growth across their businesses. Our team invents and innovates across technology, processes and people to enhance the services we offer, improve selling partner engagement and satisfaction, and build scalable solutions.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, self-directed Senior Business Analyst to join our team. You must thrive on solving complex problems and providing insights to help us improve the business and seller experience. These efforts will improve the ways in which we service our sellers and improve the business performance for SAS.

We are looking for someone with a broad technical background in data analytics, strong business acumen, who takes ownership of their work, and is focused on customer needs. The successful candidate will communicate crisply in non-technical terms to senior management. They will have an ability to make data-driven conclusions and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The candidate will also need to be a collaborator who can work with internal and external teams to define and implement solutions that will yield benefits to Amazon customers around the world.

  • Understand the business challenges and identify data-driven business insights with effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders

  • Design and conduct experiments on the effectiveness and efficiency of different initiatives to improve key output metrics and help shape the long-term strategy

  • Leverage data to increase the efficiency of our programs working closely with the business teams to drive optimization

  • Update existing and create new metrics and reporting that help drive business conclusions, continually improving reporting and analysis processes

  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to help determine key business conclusions
