Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a BE Java Developer to join the squad where they will collaborate with a cross functional group of architects, cloud experts, operational leads, and members of the team to Define, Build, Refine, and Evolve resilient solutions in support of the WI Request Store and ODS data platforms.Responsibilities:
Analytical and consulting mindset, asking engaging questions to refine requirements, technical details, and implementation options from technical team members, product owners, and customers
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and comfort summarizing and documenting technical information
A creative mind and collaborative mentality to solve problems, support team members, and identify new approaches that deliver quality results
Superb attention to detail and expertise in drafting business value-oriented user stories and a willingness to help facilitate Agile ceremonies
BS/BA degree
5-8 years of software development experience
Development experience designing, building, and automating complex and customized data pipelines with multiple ingress sources and multiple consumers including API driven user-facing web applications
Hands-on experience working with Spring, SpringBoot, Jax-RS
Experience with Java and crafting new REST and SOAP services
Hands-on experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
Cloud experience with Azure and AKS are a plus
Agile methodology experience with CI/CD
Proven work experience using data streaming tools like Kafka and loading data to low latency caching data stores
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
