JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Overview This role will directly manage aportfolio of major gift prospects who have the interest to support theCollege of Business Administration and will work closely with theCollege lead to identify, qualify, cultivate, and solicit prospects whohave the capacity to make a commitment of \$100,000 or greater. Thisposition has the opportunity to work in a hybrid work arrangement withtime worked both on campus as well as remotely. Duties andResponsibilities 1. Portfolio management Actively manage a portfolio ofprospects for the purpose of \"moving\" constituents through themajor-gift pipeline. This includes travel for face-to-face visits aswell as effective digital engagement. Create and execute fundraisingplans that utilize best practices in qualification, cultivation,solicitation, and stewardship of major gift prospects (\$100,000+) forthe strategic initiatives of the College. Secure outright and deferredgift commitments in fulfillment of individual and team goals. Sustainand strengthen relationships with targeted alumni, parents, and friends,of the college. Collaborate with other colleagues, faculty, and staff asappropriate to develop an integrated approach for cultivating prospectinterest and working toward gift solicitations. 2. Meeting Attendanceand UA Representation Attend relevant College and university events andmeetings, some during the evenings and weekends, representing theuniversity to external constituents. Participate in all UA, CollegeAdvancement, or other required team or staff meetings. 3. Perform otherduties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and anability to effectively communicate with people of all ages andbackgrounds, persuading constituents to act and participate in the lifeof the organization are critical to this role.
