Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in St Louis Earnings Tx, Missouri. This role will be within the non-profit industry, providing administrative support to a local school district's board of education.
Responsibilities:
• Prioritize tasks, manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion, and ensure the successful completion of projects often under deadline pressures.
• Receive and screen inbound telephone calls, e-mails, and visitors for the Board office, presenting a positive and professional image.
• Provide administrative support for major reports.
• Supervise inventories.
• Adhere to Missouri Best Practices and Missouri Sunshine Law.
• Demonstrate computer literacy with high skills in Microsoft Office Suites, including Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communications, and organization skills.
• Effectively deal with diverse groups of people.
• Work independently and in a self-directed manner.
• Forward and sort emails in a timely manner.
• Schedule meetings and appointments, route correspondence.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all board members.
• Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set in bylaws regarding board matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong understanding of Confidentiality and the ability to Handle Confidential Information appropriately

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
