Description With an immediate opening available for a diligent, strong Accounting Manager, Robert Half is seeking an individual who is eager to work for a growing, industry-leading company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every day
Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met
Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Excellent problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
Experience with cash flow management
Annual Budget experience
Proven knowledge of month end closings
Monthly Financial Reporting experience required
Strong familiarity with Monthly Financial Reports
Financial reporting experience
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
