To write and edit news stories that air on KTLA.

　　Responsibilities:

　　To write and edit VO’s and VOSOT’s for broadcast

　　Oversee and organize production elements of newscasts

　　Order graphics

　　Work closely with Executive Producers, Producers, Reporters and the Assignment Desk to generate content

　　Desktop editing skills required

　　Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s Degree preferred

　　Three years of TV newswriting experience preferred

　　Candidates must demonstrate a passion for news. This includes keeping up on current events; updating stories with new information; and following social media daily.

　　Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and ENPS a plus

　　Strong organizational and communication skills needed

　　Positive attitude; ability to work under pressure and creativity a must

　　Compensation - $30/hr+ commensurate with skills and experience
