  Windows Operations, Manager

  What does a successful Windows Operations, Manager do:

  Guide/manage operational responsibilities and day to day direction of the Technology Operations team in support of hosted Fiserv clients globally.

  The Windows Operations role performs a wide range of technical duties associated with Windows operating system in a Physical and Virtualized environments across multiple Datacenters. Some of those duties include 24X7 systems administration, compliance management, immediate response and/or investigation of system alerts in a complex network environment, monitor system performance and take proactive corrective action to insure maximum system availability is achieved.

  What you will do:

  The ideal candidate will leverage exhibit strong leadership skills, will be forward thinking, self-motivated, and be able to work effectively in a diverse, highly talented team, continuously striving for excellence.

  Responsible for leading the 24x7 operational teams responsible for the stability, maintenance, and compliance management of the Systems platform.

  Partner with Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure solution onboarding and operational processes align.

  Provide guidance to ensure that all operational activity runs smoothly and that the team is working at its highest level of productivity with the resources needed to succeed.

  Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure that all operational activity is appropriate, complies with regulations and standards, and coordinated to meet change, release, incident, and problem management standards.

  Seek opportunities to improve the efficiency of the teams resolves challenges by analyzing issues, assisting the team to determine the most appropriate course of action, providing direction and, when necessary, reallocating resources.

  Identify opportunities for system automation and process improvement.

  Candidate should be able to be comfortable in direct conversations with Clients, Executives and Peers

  Drive Continual Service Improvement

  What you need to have:

  Previous strong Infrastructure/System Engineering or Operations experience in heterogeneous environments.

  Excellent customer service skills with high level of professionalism, well spoken, ability to deal with internal clients and managers at various levels, work with engineers & vendors when needed.

  Knowledge of cloud computing and web-based product maintenance, development, and test

  Proven track record of running a proactive team of systems engineers responsible for delivering a high quality, customer-focused operational services.

  Strong communication abilities, team player with history of providing remote and on-site support to wide range of customers. Track record for diagnosing complex problems and consistently delivering effective solutions.

  Experience in designing, installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Windows Infrastructure and Systems Security in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

  Strong knowledge and understanding of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management as it relates to Information Technology

  Ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy environment with strong personal composure and crisis-management skills.

  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or high school diploma and 6+ years’ experience in a relevant role

  This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
