Who You Are:
The Refugee Services Program Supervisor position is located within our Refugee Services Program and will include supporting case managers in the provision of holistic and trauma-informed services for refugee clients across multiple state and federal contracts. The supervisor will ensure case management activities are rooted in evidence-based standards of care and will meet National Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate (CLAS) standards, designed to advance health equity and eliminate disparities. The supervisor will assist with organizational systems, identify, and provide training, monitor activities, and ensure federal and state contracts are complied with. This position will ensure client satisfaction, program and service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the program within a participatory team environment.
What You Will Work On:
Provide oversight and support to Program Director and Manager of all case management services within the scope of work through U.S. Department of State's Cooperative Agreement for Reception and Placement services, State of Oregon contracts and Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) contracts.
Effectively support, coach, and manage assigned staff.
Monitor refugee resettlement core services activities as required and that overall services are maintained at the highest level of quality.
Develop and implement program systems for support staff procedures, standards, tracking and quality assurance review and ensure contractual requirements are met.
What You Bring:
Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences
Bachelor's Degree (4-Year Program) or equivalent lived and or worked experience.
Experience Requirements/Preferences
At least 2 years' case management experience, showing progression, required.
Outstanding leadership skills with 1 year supervisory or lead experience showing progression (Preferred).
At least one year's experience managing social service-related programs, including experience with staff supervision, program development, and budget management, preferred.
Prior multicultural work experience required, experience with refugee populations and refugee resettlement programs strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing English. Demonstrated fluency in a second language is preferred (especially with languages common in refugee populations such as Arabic, Amharic, Burmese, Farsi, Rohingya, Sango, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya, Ukraine and Zomi).
Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
