　　About the Role:

　　The Wellness Wing Outreach Specialist provides support services toconsumers through our 12 hours/day 7day a week drop in center. Supportservices include; supportive counseling, group education, coping skills,and ADL instruction. This position allows for creativity and developingstaff areas of interest in how they provide services and supports toindividuals. This program is to provide a place and community forconsumers to feel safe, learn skills, connect with peers, and identifynew areas of interest.

　　Principal Responsibilities:

　　Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to individuals inorder to help prevent relapse and promote long-term stability.

　　Facilitation of groups

　　Communicate with clients in an educational, supportive manner, personcentered and strengths-based manner.

　　Maintain working knowledge of Case Rate mechanism for the reimbursementto RMHS for case management services provided by CRT staff.

　　Maintain working knowledge of Developmental Services Regulations andphilosophy

　　Maintain documentation in a manner consistent with Medicaid, DAIL, DMHS,and RMHS requirements.

　　Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma or GED Required; Bachelors Degree Preferred

　　Able to work alternative work schedules, evenings and weekends as neededfor operations and at the request of management.

　　Ability to navigate computers and necessary software to complete clientdocumentation.

　　Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflictresolution skills with the ability to appropriately utilize supervisionas needed.

　　Able to work independently, part of a team and exercise mature andprofessional judgment.

　　Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation with personalautomobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandatedby the State of Vermont.
