[Vincennes University is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Faculty position in Welding Technology. This is a part-time position located in Vincennes, IN. This position will teach degree required courses in the discipline of Welding Technology.

Ability to teach courses in the Welding Program.Strong background in Oxy/Fuel cutting and welding, SMAW, GMAW, TIGAble to work daytime and/or evenings as needed.Monitor student progress and maintain student progress reports.Provide course instruction in remote and/or online formats as neededUphold records of student attendance, student progress, departmental supplies, departmental equipment, and others.Maintain a safe working environment for students and co-workers.Embrace an active learning environment.Other duties as opportunities arise.[EDUCATION: [Minimum of an A.S. degree in Welding Technology or related area with a minimum of two years documented welding work experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift 50 pounds from the floor and ability to stand for a minimum of two hours without a break.
