　　The Aerojet Rocketdyne segment of L3Harris Technologies is seeking to fill a Systems Engineering Technician role located at our Missile Solutions Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. A Systems Engineering Technician (SET) assists systems engineers in the development of the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and models. They complete MBSE support tasks related to the design, verification and implementation for Aerojet Rocketdyne Systems. SETs possesses an entry level understanding of general systems engineering duties and responsibilities, but are specialized in the application of MBSE to create and advance systems models. Their specialize MBSE knowledge is inclusive of modeling languages, methodologies, and frameworks all of which are critical in the development of digital engineering ecosystems. SETs typically report to a manager but work day-to-day under the close direction and supervision of senior systems engineering personnel.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Under close supervision and following specific detailed instructions, after orientation and training the technician performs systems engineering assignments.

　　70% - Development and Maturation of SysML System Models to include:

　　Create and maintain Use Case, Requirements, State, Activity, Sequence, Block Definition, & Internal Block Diagrams

　　Support of Requirement, Functional, and Interface Analysis

　　Deliver/Present MBSE content to stakeholders

　　20% - MBSE Environment

　　Integration and maintenance of MBSE Tools

　　Generation of MBSE artifacts

　　10% - MBSE Mentoring

　　Share MBSE knowledge & skills throughout AR workforce

　　Advocate through demonstration the value of MBSE

　　Qualifications:

　　Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

　　Must have MBSE knowledge and be proficient in the use of Cameo Systems Modeler, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge and experience of IBM DOORs Rationale, Syndeia, Windchill, Matlab, Simulink, and CREO are a plus.

　　Requires proficiency and knowledge in SysML, UML, DoDAF, & UAF.

　　Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions to accomplish assignments of a routine and repetitive nature.

　　Proven ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures needed.

　　Knowledge of contamination control processes and techniques, clean rooms, laminar flow environments, FOE/FOD, etc.

　　Ability to read, interpret and understand written or oral requirements, procedures and specifications to perform assigned tasks.

　　Requires the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the work team and those contacted in the course of work.

　　Familiarity with 6S and lean procedures expected.

　　Requires the ability and willingness to work other shifts and overtime as necessary.

　　Must be able to be trained and become certified in cleanroom monitor within the first 3 months of employment.
