KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge and ability toposition, layout, fit-up, cut and weld in accordance to blueprints Readand interpret all AWS basic weld symbols and typical welding symbolsComprehend a Bill of Material to determine necessary materials andrequirements Perform detailed quality checks following D1.1 standardsOperate tooling and equipment, such as a torch, grinder, air arc, andoverhead cranes Performing all job duties following company safety rulesand proper use of assigned personal protective equipment REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS Must pass an AWS 2G flux core multi pass weld test on aone-inch plate Experience laying multiple passes with flux core wirefeed Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 poundsof material Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, andclimbing Frequent use of basic hand and measurement tools Work requiresalert individuals with good balance and physical strength Applicantsmust be willing and able to work mandatory weekday and voluntarySaturday overtime DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS One (1) year or more ofwelding/fabrication work experience at meets or exceeds performanceexpectation All candidates must be willing to submit to any job-relatedbackground check, medical exam and drug screen that are required duringthe hiring process.
