Summary/Objective

　　Under supervision, welder position safely performs standard fixture setup, welding, grinding, and buffing for a variety of organizational manufacturing needs.

　　Essential Functions

　　Perform typical welding operations per prints.Select proper welding locations, and proper fixtures.Make proper set-ups for welding operations.Perform prescribed maintenance as required.Perform all dimensional inspections.Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisor.Familiar with proper use procedures using different types of Cranes, Hand Grinder, Portable Plasma Cutter, Cutting Torch, Turntable, etc.Competencies

　　Ability to read/understand blueprints and basic GD&T.Teamwork orientation.Time management.Results driven.Communication proficiency.Work Environment

　　While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

　　Physical Demands

　　The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing 50 pounds.

　　Position Type

　　This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week.

　　Required Education and Experience

　　Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG Welding experience.Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.High school diploma.Weld experience in a high set up manufacturing environment.Other Duties
