　　Basic Job Functions:

　　Cuts structural shapes, including webs and plates out of sheet steel on a wet plasma table. Stacks and bundles various width steel strips for future use.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Experience using tools such as tape measures and/or other measuring tools.

　　Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for Visa sponsorship now and in the future (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a Visa now or in the future)

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience with reading drawings, prints, and weld standards.

　　Ability to understand and convert decimals to fractions.

　　Industrial powered equipment experience.

　　Overhead crane operational experience.

　　Extended education in a technical or engineering field.

　　Welding and/or fitting experience
