JOB SUMMARY: As the Automatic Booth Operator, you will be responsible for the layout, abrasive blasting, and detailing of monumental stones in accordance with design and production ticket specifications. WHAT YOU LL BE DOING: Verifying order details; reading production tickets Using the overhead crane to move granite stone to the automatic blasting conveyor Inspecting granite for defects before and after each step of the process Applying rubber stencil to the stone using glue and brushes Matching and coordinating stencils to the appropriate stones Mixing lithochrome, shadow, and highlight paints as needed Cross-training in other positions as needed Troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues as needed WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS: Who has strong attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills The ability to read a tape measure; both imperial and metric PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Stands for the entire shift Repetitive lifting, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling Lifts up to 30 lbs. or more Wears protective safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, and whatever the job requires MAKE YOUR MARK AND MAKE IT LAST If assistance is needed in completing this application, please call or text Jillian Opdahl in Human Resources at (320) 685-4681.
