Provide installation of weatherization materials in compliance withretrofitting standards.
Maintain records related to job completion including inventory ofmaterials installed and job time sheets.
Complete all appropriate forms and maintain all equipment.
Assist in day to day warehouse duties, receiving and storing materials,cleaning trucks and warehouse, and other duties as required.
Education and/or Experience:
Ability to communicate effectively with people representing diversebackgrounds.
Understanding use of basic hand and power tools used in constructionindustry.
Ability to work on multiple assignments with high degree of accuracy.
Skills and Abilities
Language Skills:
Ability to read, understand, and carry out general construction-relatedactivities
Ability to communicate information verbally and in writing so otherswill understand.
Must speak and write English effectively.
Ability to speak, read and write Spanish effectively is an asset.
Must be able to give full attention to what others are saying, take timeto understand what they are communicating, ask questions as appropriate,and not interrupt others inappropriately.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interpret and apply commonsense understanding to carry outinstructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to identify and install required weatherization measures.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of worksituations within the scope of the job.
Other Skills and Abilities:
One year experience in the field of construction is preferred.
Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety oftasks.
Ability to manage challenges in performance of field work.
Ability to give attention to detail to ensure tasks are completedthoroughly and correctly.
Certificates and Licenses and Registrations:
Employee must have all the following:
Dependable transportation,
Valid Idaho Driver\'s license
Good Driving record (must be insurable by agency)
Employee must pass a criminal background check through IDHW
