　　The Role

　　Production support electricians are largely responsible for building, installing, repairing, and maintaining temporary light and power distribution equipment, various cable assemblies and extensions, and temporary telephone and announcing systems. A Production Support Electrician will also support temporary light and power installations and maintenance of in facilities, pier side, aboard ships, and in production shops. Production Support Electricians also troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.

　　Must Have

　　Candidates must able to work at extreme heights or small confined spaces. Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and must take and pass a respirator fit test. Must be able to work indooors/outdoors year round in all weather conditions. Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs. Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test.

　　Nice to Have

　　High school graduate or equivalent preferred

　　Knowledge of Commercial/industrial electrical experience preferred, familiarity with NEC and load calculations/cable selection.

　　Competent in the use of electrical and/or electronic test equipment i.e.: Multimeter, Megger Insulation Tester, Clamp-Amp, Phase Rotation Tester, Thermal Imager

　　Competent in interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
