　　Weatherization Aide (Civil Service)

　　DescriptionFull time position, 37.5 hours per week. The starting salary is $21.88 per hour. There is no civil service test.

　　ResponsibilitiesAdjust windows and doors including the installation of weather stripping, doors sweeps, sash locks; Replace and/or reset glass including glazing, interior air sealing (caulking all areas of infiltration; Install cellulose and fiberglass insulation including venting, Install vinyl replacement and storm windows; etc.

　　QualificationsGraduation from High School; OR Two (2) Years Carpentry Experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience or training. Possession of a valid NY State Driver's License is required, and must be maintained throughout employment.

　　ResidencyCandidates must have been legal residents of Seneca County or one of the six contiguous counties (Cayuga, Ontario, Schuyler, Tompkins, Wayne or Yates) for one month preceding the date of application.
