　　Description: Leprino Foods Company, a global leader in the dairy food and ingredient industry, is seeking a dedicated General Production (Packaging/Sanitation) employee to join our team located in Waverly, NY. Leprino Foods is the world's largest supplier of mozzarella cheese and one of the largest suppliers of premium dairy nutrition ingredients. Our customers and business partners span the globe and include many of the world's largest food companies, restaurant chains and distributors.

　　The Store Room Clerk is responsible for the maintenance of accurate inventory control records and performing distribution of part items to maintenance and production personnel. This individual must have a general knowledge of inventory control as maintaining inventories and distribution of parts requires. The incumbent must also possess working knowledge of proper filing procedures.

　　The Store Room Clerk must have good communication skills in dealing with management and in distributing parts to production and maintenance personnel. The individual works in a plant environment. Duties may vary by shift to include parts ordering, tracking overdue purchase orders, shipping of equipment for repairs, and data entry.

　　Schedule:

　　Leprino Foods is a 24/7 operating facility. While the schedule will be mainly Monday through Friday, occasional weekend or off-shift availability may be required. Current opening is for 1st Shift ( 7:00 AM - 3:30PM)Pay Rate:

　　At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $17.51 to $19.69.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Accurately enter data into computer system as required.Maintain proper parts inventory levels against maintenance needs.Locates the correct parts efficiently and distributes to production or maintenance personnel.Maintains accurate filing records of all required functions.Completes regularly scheduled parts inventories.Identifying and locating parts for plant employees as neededAccurate counting of partsReceiving correct parts as they arrive in the parts roomOther duties as assigned

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma or GEDStrong knowledge of Maintenance industry best practicesMust have the ability to maintain complete and accurate inventory records Must have the ability to read and writeMust have intermediate math skillsFamiliarity or ability to learn SAP, or similar integrated manufacturing system

　　Preferred Experience:

　　Familiarity with inventory control processes in Maintenance setting

　　Language and Technical SkillsProficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office productsMust be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to individuals at all levels within the company

　　Reasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to determine the root cause to issues that arise, using skills of investigation, organizing thoughts and conclusions, and presenting these solutions to othersAbility to deal with and understand different cultures

　　Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to support 24 / 7 manufacturing operation, including holiday and weekend coverage when neededThis position will be exposed to both an office and production operations environment.
