Role and Responsibilities:As a Technical Writer with MTSI, your development activities at the CyberOperations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competenciesto implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, thisprogram office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration ofsecurity at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initialdesign, through integration, testing, deployment, and softwaredelivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensivecyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Reviews, plans, and evaluates network communications systems. Providesdocumentation/project tracking and management reporting. Provides tacticaland strategic input on overall network communications planning and relatedprojects. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices,and procedures.Qualifications
Required skills:At least four year (4) relevant experienceExperience or knowledge in the following Areas:Software development release notes, documentation configurationmanagement, technical document creation and editingDesired skills/experience:Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems CommandExperience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program officeEducation/Ce tificationMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree and 4 year's related professional experience; or HighSchool diploma and 8 years related professional experience.Clearance:Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) securityclearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.Location/Travel Requirements:Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is limited. Youmay be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.The pay range for this position in Colorado is $70,000/year to$95,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending onestablished government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience, and other factors.
