What does a Benefits Coordinator do?
This position will be working closely with our residential department to make sure benefits are properly maintained for the people we support. Some responsibilities will include Medicaid recertification, SNAP benefits, social security, and working with Financial Management to send out rent notifications. This position requires effective communication with agency stakeholders, department staff, people we support, and their families!
Pay Rate
The salary range is $18 - 20/hour
Schedule/Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. No evenings, weekends, or holidays!
Qualifications
Experience working in the human services field preferred
Knowledge of benefits administration preferred
Excellent mathematics and Excel knowledge highly preferred
Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or higher
