The Warper plays a major role in the initial stage ofproduction of Engineered and Forming Fabrics for use in the building,pulp and paper industry. Over time the incumbent is trained in a varietyof distinct tasks each associated with the classification of a Warper.These include: knot-tying, threading, set-up of creel, cleaning loom,turning cans. SAFETY AND PROCEDURES * Follow all publicized safetypolicies/procedures and JIBS applicable to the job. * Use appropriatePPE that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for thedepartment/role. * Attend and participate in all safety training,safety meetings, audits and Behavior Based Safety programs assigned. *Report all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safetyhazard identified. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * To operate creel * Toturn cans * To operate knot tie machine * To operate JIB hoist * Tooperate Tow Motor * To follow instructions on trailer cards. * Toperform standard work as specified in JIBS. * Help thread * Help withchangeovers * Help clean looms * Help pull knots * To assure qualityof products. * To work on process improvement initiatives. * Toparticipate on various Department Groups and Committees. * To act as amature, responsible team member including helping team members andhaving a positive attitude. * To perform all tasks requested by TeamLeads. * Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business inaccordance to Albany International\'s Business Ethics Policy.
