Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a key role in our operations by handling various warehouse-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming freight, inspecting materials, and ensuring they are stored correctly. You will also pick and pack orders for shipment, all while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Freight Reception : Receive incoming freight and check for damages or shortages.

Inventory Management : Put away materials in designated stock locations.

Order Picking : Walk to stock locations and use a scanner to pick orders.

Physical Tasks : Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Order Packing : Prepare orders for shipment.

Forklift Training : Be trained on and eventually operate stand-up Crown forklifts.

Essential Skills

Warehouse Experience : Previous experience in a warehouse setting.

RF Scanner Operation : Familiarity with RF scanners for order picking.

Material Handling : Experience in material handling and packing.

Forklift Operation : Willingness to learn and operate forklifts; previous stand-up forklift experience is a plus.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to walk throughout the shift to pick orders.

Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Work Environment

Shift : Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.

Physical Demands : Expect to work in warmer conditions during summer months and potentially stay late as needed.

Dress Code : Steel toe boots required; jeans or work pants without holes or frays, and a t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt with no offensive graphics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
