Daikin operates under 8 Core Values which are embedded into every aspect of our business.  It's through these values that we continuously strive to build a place where everyone can be authentic, feel valued and heard, and have a sense of purpose and belonging.The Warehouse Team Leader is a crucial role in leading the receiving process and activities of workers engaged in receiving and put-away.A Day in the Life:Coordinates inbound freight and schedules respective dock appointmentsMonitors Receiving activities to ensure timely receipt and put-away of incoming material.Direct oversight of personnel performing Receiving and Put-Away processes.Audits Receiving transactions to ensure accuracy.Ensures safety and office policies adhered to in work area.Assures proper preservation of product in work area.Coordinates issues to resolve problems with the various departments.Reports damaged freight.Trains Material handlers in Receiving and Put-away procedures.Maintains standards regarding output.Expedites critical material through process.Establishes or adjusts work schedules to meet production needs.May have to provide assistance / oversight of picking processes.Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve logistics processes.Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and reduce cost.Supervisory - Oversight of Receiving and Put-away associates.
