Description: Within our Fort Morgan, CO manufacturing facility, we areseeking a highly qualified Warehouse Supervisor for our Warehouse team tocontinue moving our organization to even larger levels of food quality,safety, and production efficiencies.
At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically rangesbetween $77,000 and $92,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.
Leads all aspects of inventory control of all incoming production material(with the exclusion of milk) to avoid production material shortages.Determine product availability to fill customer orders.Applies shipping specifications within company policy.Manages inventory expenses by selecting cost efficient suppliers and keepinginventories at a minimum.Supervises receipts of cheese and/or powder from other locations andmaintain inventory control of all purchased and manufactured cheese, QLC andwhey powder.Plans and schedules daily staffing needs to maximize labor efficiency andensure production needs are met.Leads and coaches team employees in Warehouse Department by implementingprograms in technical training, safety, quality, communications,performance recognition, and internal employee development to drive peakemployee engagement and efficiency.Maintains strong working relationships, collaboration within their teamand a positive work environment.Reinforces company and plant policies fairly and consistently.Ensures team employees have completed all required training.Responds to employee questions and concerns.Monitors team operations and makes recommendations for labor andmanufacturing efficiency, cost savings, and quality improvements.Implements plant safety programs to ensure compliance and a safe workingenvironment.Ensures work is accomplished in a safe manner and the workplace is free ofsafety hazards.Provides employees with the training, equipment, and tools to be able tosafely perform their jobs.Leads and demonstrates safe practices.Participates in safety investigations and corrective actions.Leads and executes the department s quality systems to achieve qualitygoals.Coordinates the sanitation program efficiency to ensure food safetystandards are met in the department.Be humble, inquisitive, patient, collaborative, innovative,results-oriented, and resilient - the DNA of a Leprino employee.You Have At Least (Required Qualifications): -* Three (3) years in food manufacturing packaging, logistics, or warehouse.* Two (2) years of progressive leadership experience in a Warehouse,Logistics, or Materials Management functional area.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):* Bachelor s degree in Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics,Business, or similar subject areas.* Familiarity with SAP Warehouse Management* Previous experience leading teams in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
