The Warehouse Lead for Outbound is responsible for the organization andstorage of outgoing orders and inventory. They are in charge ofoverseeing progress towards targeted department goals and coaching teammembers as needed. Successful completion of assigned duties will ensureefficient operation of the warehouse and flow of workload to theproduction floor and shipping area. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Ability to complete any aspect of a WarehouseAssociate task or assignment Assists with problem-solving anydiscrepancies encountered by a warehouse associate during picking orpacking orders Initiates load moves when there is not enough inventoryin a picking location and completes a cycle count to update WMS Hands inany completed load moves to supervisor at the end of shift for inventoryreview Retrieves PLOs from other warehouse transfer and completes countverification, staging process and proper packing for completed orders todistribute to shipping dept. Completes a Ready Report on WMS to prepareand transport completed blank orders from CON01 staging area Acts as aliaison between warehouse and production floor, separating picked ordersappropriately by department Any other assigned tasks provided bysupervisor Education and Experience: Warehouse experience preferredSkills/Qualifications Experience with leading a team in a warehouseenvironment Exceptional communication skills Excellent problem-solvingtechniques Strong attention to detail Knowledge and operation of WMScomputer program and utilizing an RF Unit Ability to use the followingtools and machinery. o Forklift o Hand truck o Pallet jack o Must beable to operate (or train on) Order Picking Machine/Cherry Picker.
