  Job DetailsJob Summary:The Material Coordinator will coordinate production schedules, interpret production specifications, record all scrap accurately, make ERP transactions, and make required adjustments to produce acceptable product. This position is required to follow proper gowning procedures and wear other personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, frocks, shoe covers, beard and hair covers, gloves) to reduce contamination of the products.

  Job Description:

  Coordinates production scheduling according to assembly department's needs by recording scrap, reading production requirements, performing in-process testing, and observing part needs.

  Records inspection data and results, and scrap tracking sheets.

  Visually inspect component parts to insure all are built in compliance with all current quality standard documentation (Manufacturing Instructions - MI; Bills of Materials - BOM; Standard Instructions - SI; Standard Operating Procedures - SOP).

  Labels all components and scrap in accordance with applicable SOPs. Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.

  Work to streamline the manufacturing rooms to make them more efficient and also reduce the amount of paperwork needed in a Device History Record (DHR).

  Perform regular physical cycle counts on problematic part numbers used in manufacturing.

  Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following safety procedures and observing potentially hazardous situations as well as work safely with various chemicals such as alcohol, adhesive, etc.

  Meets daily production schedules and quality standards by following work and safety instructions and completes all necessary paperwork in order to track, log and monitor production activity; i.e., GMP paperwork, such as Device History

  Frequent fine manipulation, walking, standing, twisting, and reaching and lifting above shoulders is required.

  Occasional physical activities include sitting, bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, squatting, pushing/pulling, and lifting and lowering objects no more than 30 pounds.

  May be required to assist in training other Machine Operators and perform other tasks as requested by group leader or supervisor.

  Qualifications:

  High School diploma or equivalent, required.

  1+ year of experience supporting manufacturing in an administrative capacity, required.

  Proficiency in computer programs Excel, Word, and Outlook, required.

  Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and Agile, preferred.

  Experience working in FDA regulated industry, preferred.
