Adecco is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate III for local shipping company in Herndon , VA ! This is for a contract-to-hire opportunity. As a Warehouse Associate III you will be responsible for will managing the receipt, storage, packaging, and shipping of goods within a warehouse environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and may operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts or hydraulic jacks. Responsibilities for the Warehouse Associate III job includes, but are not limited to:

Ability to perform all warehouse activities, including but not limited to, pick, pack, ship, receive, put-away, cycle count, and inventory audit.

Ability to utilize various pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including pallet movers, stand up forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order picker.

Ability to utilize RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities.

Performs all tasks using defined job processes with a high level of accuracy with minimal supervision.

High level proficiency in utilizing PC-based WMS to perform all warehouse activities including, but not limited to, outbound process, inbound process, and inventory control.

Ensures transaction accuracy.

Coordinates with supervisor on all warehouse activities and performance

Ensures safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications:

General knowledge of warehouse terminology and practices

Forklift experience.

1-year minimum warehouse experience

Experience with shipping and receiving procedures.

Proficient in maintaining inventory accuracy.

Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse power equipment.

Knowledge of proper packaging and labeling

Must have great attention to detail.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in a warehouse is a plus.

Perfect attendance is a MUST!

Candidates must have own and reliable transportation.

Schedule: Various days and hours. Facility is open 24/7-MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ANY DAYS AND HOURS

Pay for this position is $20.00/hr. depending on experience.
