Methode Electronics is seeking a Warehouse Clerk responsible for material handling including receiving, inspecting for damage, stocking, and shipping within a warehouse, shipping, and receiving dock.Grakon, a Methode Company, creates custom lighting solutions for specialized vehicle markets through our deep engineering expertise and obsessive customer follow-through to elevate the vehicle experience.Responsibilities:Unload carrier trucksMaintain First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory systemEnsure all counts and shipping documents accurately represent material and product being shipped and received before signingSort and place materials in predetermined storage locations in the warehouse or plantPull inventory and prepare shipments for customer pick-upReport material shortages to purchasing agentAccurately record during physical inventoriesComply with all safety rules, policies and procedures, maintain neat and orderly work areasOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredOne year of general work experienceMust be able to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualMust be able to write routine reports and communicate in EnglishAbility to learn to operate powered lift trucks and other material moversAbility to work independentlyMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMethode Electronics is an equal opportunity employer.
