Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst (Acquisition) in the Fleet Readiness Center - Acquisition Group of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. Responsibilities You will influence managers to accept findings from program analysis. You will explain observations or findings that may require changes to work operations. You will analyze data to identify process weaknesses. You will consolidate analytic findings into a recommendation. You will propose solution strategies to improve work force learning and growth. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Drafting and controlling acquisition documentation, developing and maintaining schedules, timely collection and presentation of project status and associated risks. 2) Planning, analyzing and evaluating major aspects of substantive, mission-oriented acquisition programs. 3) Developing long-range plans, goals, objectives, milestones, and evaluating the effectiveness of acquisition programs that are critical to national defense. 4) Developing criteria for measuring program accomplishments and the extent to which program goals and objectives are attained. 5) Developing ways to resolve problems or cope with issues that directly affect the accomplishment of program goals and objectives.
