Consultants please conduct a seated interview. Applicants must have 20days experience with Farm / Irrigation / Livestock work. Applicantshired must be able to obtain a valid driver\'s license as driving onpublic roads may be required. Applicants must be able to lift up to 100pounds. Dates of need are (3/21/2024 11/1/2024) This order is for workin Dietrich, Idaho area. Job duties may require a split shift, such as5:00 to 8:00 AM; 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM; 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Worker will berequired to perform a variety of duties related to the production ofbeets, corn, hay, barley, wheat, and cattle. The majority of the workactivities during the overall contract period, however, will be relatedto general farm work/irrigation/crop production. General Farm Work willinclude the following responsibilities: maintain, drive, attach andoperate farm implements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant,cultivate, fertilize and harvest crops; make minor mechanicaladjustments and repairs on farm machinery; may mix and/or spraychemicals (according to appropriate restrictive use laws, when/ifapplicable); remove undesirable and excess growth from crops or farmgrounds; remove rocks from field; paint/repair farm structures;replace/repair fencing; perform general clean up of farm areas; drive,load/unload trucks; operate motor bike or all-terrain vehicle in thecourse of performing duties. Irrigation duties will include thefollowing: Hand lines: connect pipes; attach lines to water supply; turnon pump; turn valves to start flow of water; disassemble lines and carrypipes across fields at specified intervals; move pipes through freshlyirrigated crops and/or plowed fields where mud may be deep at times;lift and carry pipe sections weighing approximately 40 pounds on asustained basis. Pivots: push on switch that activates circle sprinklersystem. Other Irrigation Duties: remove pipes/wheel lines from storageand lay out/place in predetermined patterns in fields; lubricate,adjust, repair and replace parts such as sprinkler heads and drivechains using hand tools; observe revolving sprinklers and adjust toensure proper operation and uniform distribution of water; disassemble,service and store pipes/mainlines/wheel lines after irrigation season.To meet minimum acceptable performance standards when irrigating, theworker must, after a 10 day conditioning period, move an average of atleast 48 40-foot sections of 3-inch pipe or 44 40-foot sections of4-inch pipe per hour under normal working conditions. Duties related tothe production of Livestock will include the following: examine animalsto detect illness/injury/disease, rate of weight gain or to determinedelivery time; assist in delivery; mix feed/additives and feed/waterlivestock; place mineral blocks; drive equipment to haul/distributefeed/water; herd livestock; confine livestock in stalls; clean/disinfectlivestock corrals/stalls/sheds
