Summary
Warehouse Associates helps ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Warehouse/Operations Manager. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Pull inventory for shipmentsNon-CDL delivery driver dutiesHelp with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for deliveryRecording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating proceduresEnsuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processedKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and preventively maintain warehouse equipmentFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsWorking in accordance with all warehouse safety regulationsLoad finished product onto truckNavigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer ordersFollow all applicable safety regulations and processes as associated with driving, vehicle check, material handling and customer site specificsInteract with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner```{=html}

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experienceCurrent and valid US drivers license and 21+ years old to drive for the companyValid DOT medical card if will be driving vehicle over 10,000 lbs. (Preferred but Not Required)Forklift certification preferredMust pass pre-employment background check and drug testKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic computer skillsKnowledge of architectural door materials and hardwareExperience driving trucks for delivery preferredGood communication skillsAbility to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete formsAbility to work closely and cordially with other staff associatesPhysical Demands
Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day. Ability to lift 5-25 pounds frequently and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment
Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Worker is subject to frequent heavy lifting.
