The role may be also be responsible forshipping, receiving or delivering supplies, materials and equipment. AWarehouse Associate must always ensure they are maintaining inventory controland records during all product move processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPicking orders from warehouse inventory using item location identifiersUnloading, moving and storing materials. Loading trucks for delivery.Utilizing manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requiresapplicable safety and operational training)Storing and stacking materials according to company standardsIdentifying and verifying partsReporting inventory shortages and recommending new ordersRemoving damaged materials from stock and document inventory adjustmentaccordinglyOperating RF scanners and other hand-held devicesOther responsibilities may be assigned.Minimum work experience requirements:6 months of related experience working in a warehouse and/or distributionenvironment preferredForklift experience preferredKnowledge of branch product lines.Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.Skill in organizing and prioritizing personnel and work activities.Knowledge of merchandise handling and production methods.Some knowledge of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting,multiplying, and dividing.Ability to effectively communicate.Must be a team player and abide by QED's strong core values and beliefsAssociate Benefits:
