Description Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join our client! The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Prepare financial outlooks and forecasts

　　Manage the operating procedures of the department, including short- and long-range goals, objectives, and policies- Ensure adherence to budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

　　Manage the preparation of all financial reports

　　Evaluate and sustain forecasting and budgeting models

　　Analyze monthly operating performance against budget

　　Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

　　Manage the organizational structure of the department in order to achieve goals and objectives

　　Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions

　　Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans

　　Direct risk and insurance management

　　Hire and train employees, especially finance staff, and manage retention

　　Suggest benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance

　　Develop financial analysis prior to contract negotiations and product investment decisions Requirements - Very detail oriented and expert analytical thinking skills

　　Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

　　Proficient in Microsoft Excel

　　MBA or CPA is preferred

　　10+ years of finance and accounting experience

　　Experience with multiple accounting and financial reporting systems

　　Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, accounting, and finance principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
