  This position is located in Bellevue, Washington, under a hybrid work model. Local candidates only, please.

  WHO YOU ARE

  A visionary VP of Marketing with a successful track record of scaling high-growth global B2B software business.

  WHAT YOU WILL DO

  You will manage all marketing functions and lead operational synergies, as well as participate in strategic decision making to enable the company to achieve growth targets under private equity ownership. Reporting to the CRO, and working closely with the the executive leadership team (ELT) and the Board, you will develop and execute Seagull Scientific’s growth strategy as follows:

  Create a metrics driven organization that achieves marketing excellence

  Develop a strong analytical and data-driven cultureOwn all performance metrics and determine effectiveness across all areas of marketing (i.e. brand, positioning, messaging, acquisition, conversion, bookings)Implement a mechanism to track ROI and establish measurable KPIs and milestones to continually evaluate performance against standards (i.e., ROI targets, customer acquisition rate, funnel conversion, percent of market, etc.) Enhance brand, go-to-market, value proposition, and product marketing strategies

  Clearly articulate Seagull’s value proposition:Create market awareness through multi-channel go-to-market strategiesLeverage available customer and industry market data, and conduct qualitative and quantitative customer/market research to drive decision making for product positioning and messaging to differentiate from competitorsConduct market, competitor, and segmentation analysis; deliver significant growth in lead generation; support decision-making for product and market development, and pricing; manage communications and budgets  Enhance corporate marketing functions

  Continue to develop compelling messaging to drive higher levels of brand awareness and delivering a consistent brand message across the globe; enhance content Lead a robust marketing team and instill a performance-driven culture

  Lead and manage high-caliber marketing talent to build a nimble but high-functioning teamEstablish trust and foster a culture of partnership, consensus, collaboration, and transparency across the organization (i.e., a team player and partner internally across the executive team and business units)Promote a marketing culture that focuses on data to drive decision making Act as a key business partner to the sales and product organizations

  Partner with the team to enhance the go-to-market strategy and execution plan along with sales and product leadership for demand generation marketing, sales, and customer success WHAT WE REQUIRE

  Successful track record as a VP of Marketing, with experience in B2B multi-product, complex software companies (ideal scale seen of $50M to $100M+)History of building and scaling a SMB / high-velocity customer acquisition strategy, with heavy emphasis on lead generation, demand generation, and global account marketingExperience marketing through channel relationships / partnershipsExperience with post-sale and resale drip marketing campaigns with customer lifecycle management e.g. segmented messaging, NPS, leveraging digital, etc.Strong partner enablement as well as customer communication within drip contentExperience in designing and implementing global marketing strategiesStrong ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, customer success, etc. with a high degree of familiarity with GTM strategiesTrack record of building, developing, leading, and retaining A+ talentExperience implementing a mechanism to track ROI and establish measurable KPIs and milestones to continually evaluate performance against standards (i.e., ROI targets, customer acquisition rate, funnel conversion, percent of market, etc.)Proven execution against performance targets in addition to tracking and delivering on key operational metrics (e.g., acquisition, engagement, conversion, return on investment) and effectively managing smaller budgetsSuccess in building a cohesive brand strategy for a high-growth technology platform; strong expertise in value proposition messaging and positioning, persona development and brand trackingData-driven marketer and decision maker; analytical and metrics focused with history of implementing marketing strategies that are quantifiable and trackable Responsibility over global marketing effortsExperience working in private equity-backed companies is nice to haveDomain experience in ERP software e.g. warehouse / distribution and WMS, supply chain, etc.Strong leadership in tactical execution, as well as blocking and tackling, with a competitive spiritLeader who will share the passion and commitment for Seagull’s technology and market opportunity EDUCATION

  Bachelor‘s degree in business, marketing, communications or closely related field, or equivalent experience COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  Compensation for this full-time job is an annual base salary between $200,000 - $270,000 with the potential for an annual bonus.
