  Role Summary

  The VP, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Women’s Health & X-ray is a newly created role intended to lead and transform the manufacturing, sourcing, and overall supply chain for the $1B WHXR Segment. The WHXR Segment consists of 5 global product sub-segments and a manufacturing footprint spanning 4 sites. The ISC Leader will bring a strong balance of strategic direction and operational excellence. The role will lead supply chain in partnership with our sub-segment leadership and region and functional partners to ensure the right trade-offs in an increasingly complex environment. They will need to challenge, enable and ensure that each sub-segment (Fixed X-ray, Mobile X-ray, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and Bone & Metabolic Health) are set up for success – being resilient, responsive to complex customer needs and enabling us to achieve maximum profitability.

  Key Responsibilities include:

  Lead the definition and execution of the WHXR wing-to-wing supply chain strategy to ensure optimal delivery in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost and working capital optimization.

  Build and lead Lean capabilities in alignment with ISC objectives and overall Lean activities in other functions (e.g., marketing, engineering, product mgmt., etc.).

  Partner with the regional commercial organizations to implement a robust, repeatable S&OP process to integrate, analyze, and align accountability & decision making, as measured by meeting primary business objectives of sales, production plans, supplier performance, at optimal cost; continued improvement in OTD and inventory turns.

  Monitor and improve critical KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory turns, customer satisfaction, cash generation and productivity.

  Build a world-class team of supply chain leaders and professionals to execute current priorities, and fuel continuous improvement.

  Assess and plan for risk around key strategic supplier relationships & other third-party supply chain partners to ensure sustainable and resilient feeder network.

  Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or related discipline, or 10 years of progressive engineering, business, operations and/or commercial experience.

  10+ years of work experience in minimum of one ISC core discipline such as manufacturing, Lean or Sourcing.Desired Qualifications:

  Experience in supply chain operational leadership - expertise in planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and installation and executing for results.

  Setting and executing supply chain strategy through Lean, continuously simplifying to drive out waste & ensure continuous operational improvement.

  Previous experience in a global leadership capacity in a supply chain-related area such as manufacturing, sourcing, etc.

  Experience developing and executing a robust strategy for cost optimization across the entire wing-to-wing supply chain.

  Experience and knowledge of medical technology device business dynamics related to supply chain optimization and strategy is helpful, but candidates with experience in low volume complex manufacturing environments from other industries will also be strongly considered.

  Lean leadership experience and capability.

  Capable business leader – experience quantifying impact of projects and investments; financially fluent.

  Ability to influence and effectively navigate complex matrixed environment.

  Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team.

  Strong project management skills. Ability to break down complex problems, rally support, and drive execution of project plans

  Quality Specific Goals:

  Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  Lead quality: improve product reliability, implement and operationalize the QMS, zero enforcement actions through effective QMS management and inspection readiness.

  Establish a commitment to quality and communicate the importance of meeting statutory, regulatory and customer requirements. Ensure quality policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.

  Establish and communicate quality objectives that are measurable and consistent with the quality policy.

  Maintain adequate organizational structures and adequate resources of sufficiently trained personnel. Ensure qualified personnel relative to assigned responsibilities. Ensure appropriate responsibility, independence and authority of all personnel who manage, perform and assess work affecting quality.

  Drive effective QMS management and inspection readiness.

  Establish a commitment to quality and communicate the importance of meeting statutory, regulatory and customer requirements. Ensure quality policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.

  Establish and communicate quality objectives that are measurable and consistent with the quality policy.

  Maintain adequate organizational structures and adequate resources of sufficiently trained personnel. Ensure qualified personnel relative to assigned responsibilities. Ensure appropriate responsibility, independence and authority of all personnel who manage, perform and assess work affecting quality.

  For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is [$164,500-305,000]. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

  While GE Healthcare does not currently require U.S. employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, some GE Healthcare customers have vaccination mandates that may apply to certain GE Healthcare employees.

  Additional Job Description

  For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $196,000.00-$364,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
